Terms of Service
Effective date: August 20, 2026. By using Vellon, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Vellon helps create, inspect, edit, publish, and monitor websites from information you provide. AI output is automatically checked, but you remain responsible for reviewing the website and the accuracy of your business information.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping authentication methods secure, and for providing accurate account and business information.
3. Stars and scope pricing
Stars are usage credits. Before paid work starts, Vellon calculates a fixed maximum price from the requested scope. Internal retries do not increase that approved amount. A workflow that ends without a publishable result is eligible for an automatic refund of the charged Stars.
4. Autopilot approval
Monitoring and deterministic inspection may run automatically. Paid AI changes and publication require the website owner's explicit approval. You may cancel active work, but a provider request already in progress may require a short time to stop.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service for unlawful or harmful content, attempt to bypass limits or access another user's data, upload secrets or highly sensitive personal data into prompts, or use generated output in a way that infringes another person's rights.
6. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Vellon does not store full card details. Star purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or where the Service explicitly provides an automatic generation refund.
7. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights to the content you provide. Generated output is supplied for your use, but you are responsible for rights to names, trademarks, images, copy, and other assets included in the final website.
8. Availability and changes
The Service may occasionally be unavailable or change as reliability, security, legal, or provider requirements evolve. Vellon may pause unsafe work and reject output that does not pass publication checks.
9. Termination
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for material violations of these Terms, fraud, chargebacks, abuse, or actions that threaten the Service or other users.
